Prof. Adi Raveh

Prof. Raveh is an Associate Professor of Statistics and Business Administration at the School of Business Administration of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.

He was the Head of the B.A program in Business Administration at the Hebrew University from 2001 to 2004, and the Academic Director of the Center for Management Development from 1990-1995.

Prof. Raveh serves as an External Director and Head of the Auditing Committee of Clal Insurance and of Mydas Investment Fund Ltd., and as an External Director of BOS (Nasdaq listed) and Intercosma. He also serves as a Director and Head of the Auditing Committee of Sialo Technology, and as a Director of Excellence Nessuah Mutual Funds Management.

Previously, Prof. Raveh served as Chairman of the Board of Jerusalem Capital Markets Underwriting, as a Director of Meitav, a mutual funds management company, and as a Director of Peilim, a portfolio management company of Bank Hapoalim Group. He also served as a member of the Budget Committee for Research at the Israel Science Foundation. In 2008, Prof. Raveh was appointed by the Prime Minister to the Israeli Public Advisory Council for Statistics, which oversees Israel’s Central Bureau of Statistics.

Prof. Raveh holds a B.Sc in Mathematics-Statistics, MA, Cum Laude, in Statistics, and Ph.D in Statistics, all from the Hebrew University. He has published over 50 scientific papers, was a visiting professor at Stanford University, Columbia University and Baruch College, N.Y., and has received a number of grants and honors.
